Peace out

It is truly amazing how much peace I feel about my IF right now. I think I could easily allow myself to become obsessed and stressed over the situation. But really... I have absolutely no control over it! Normally this would freak me out (I am a planner... see below!) but knowing that God is the one that is in control gives me such peace!

This does not mean that I don't get sad over it. I just read a blog, this woman just gave birth and she wrote about her birth story. Now, I am not one to be bitter about other women getting pregnant or anything, but I can't help but feel the tug at my heart. It is the most beautiful miracle - a child being born, and I pray that God allow me to experience this too.

I am really hoping that when I go into my doctors appointment on Thursday that my follicles will have gone down. Wonder why they don't? My bloodwork was baseline, so shouldn't they just go away?! I am sure it has something to do with my PCOS. Fun times. Since I have nothing to do after work today or tomorrow, Thursday morning seems like it will take forever to get here!

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1)

  1. Hi there... nice to meet you:) My name is Hannah and I also have PCOS. And I have had my fair share of Problems with it. I went through 2 back to back IVf's that were cancelled due to me "not responeding to the meds & not making enough mature follies". Now I always did have almost too many Follies/eggs to count because of my Pcos. We just have had a time about getting Enough to grow. (we needed IVF/ICSI Because we also have male-factor IF).

So after 2 canceled back to back IVf's.. we jumped right back into it Again... And they FINALLY Got my "med combo: Right.. And we Finally Made it to Retrieval and just transfered 2 beautiful Embryo's.

My point is "Never Give Up" on your dreams. I'm sorry that you have to go through this. And I understand about the Peace you say you feel Because GOD is in Control:)I feel the same way.... even though I STILL have bad days also.

    Praying for you!!!

    Hugs,
    Hannah

  2. I love the feeling of Peace from knowing that God is in control. I think having Faith through IVF makes such a big difference. My faith has helped me through two miscarriages. I pray that your appointment on Thursday will go well. Good luck.

  5. Hello! Fellow Christ-believer here. :)
I also know that God is in control of my life and my womb, and if it's His will to bless me, He will! (ok, so sometimes that's easy to say but not so easy to swallow) ;)
